Role Summary/Purpose
As an integral member of the Strategic Marketing team based in London, the Marketing Intelligence Manager will provide an external view and market insights to support GE's strategic planning and other critical processes.

Essential Responsibilities
The Marketing Intelligence Manager will be responsible for:

*Monitoring trends in the macroeconomic environment and financial services sector that affect the GE Capital EMEA businesses.
*Monitoring trends such as market size, growth rates, competitor returns and activities across all major product lines and business segments within GE Capital EMEA.
*Understanding changes in the regulatory environment and how these may impact GE specific product lines.
*Understanding trends in key customer groups and implications for GE.
*Using above to identify key threats and opportunities for GE Cap EMEA and working with individual P&Ls to develop responses to the changing environment.
*Responding to specific market research requests from other parts of the GE Capital business (eg Risk, Commercial Excellence etc).
*Managing GE Capital EMEA subscriptions to external market intelligence databases.
*Working on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
*Strong knowledge of European financial services marketplace. *Demonstrable working knowledge of databases and other sources used to access market intelligence. *Proven ability to translate market data into meaningful insights for the business. *Excellent communication skills. *Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. *Team player.
